Gov. Polis Announces Boards and Commissions Appointments

Health Insurance Affordability Enterprise Board

The Colorado Health Insurance Affordability Enterprise Board administers a health insurance affordability fee on certain insurers and a special assessment on hospitals to fund measures aimed at reducing consumer costs for individual health coverage plans.

For terms expiring September 24, 2028:

• Rebecca Gillett of Centennial, Colorado, to serve as a representative of consumers of healthcare who are not representative or employees of a hospital, carrier, or other healthcare insurance entity, reappointed;

• Kevin McFatridge of Arvada, Colorado, to serve as a representative of a statewide association of health benefit plans, appointed;

• Diana Pineda of Denver, Colorado, to serve as a representative of a healthcare advocacy organization, appointed;

• Dr. Lilia Cervantes of Denver, Colorado, to serve as a representative of a rural, critical access or independent hospital, appointed.
